47 ronin

Feb 21, 2014 01:23

Okay, I decided to make a 47 Ronin Jin blatant shaming and laughing at him in general appreciation public post, so I'll make a friends locked post about the day I spent with my friends alehfred , sayi and radiostuff prior to the cinema.

ALSO, I'M NOT RESIZING PICS. BIG PICTURES AHEAD.

Expect stupid and lame jokes as captions and me and my friends laughing at him in general. No, I don't hate Jin maybe just a little bit, but it's so funny to laugh with your friends at the movies and he was the butt of the joke that day XD

OKAY. SO, radiostuff AKA. SUKITA, alehfred AKA. ALEH AND I WENT TO SEE 47 RONIN. We went because I insisted on seeing Jin. Suki used to like him lots in the past, so I knew it would be awesome to rant about him on the cinema. And Aleh was on the town and WE HAD TO GO TO SEE IT WITH HER.

The first appearance Jin had we were all: "... Was that Jin?", because he had 0.0001 seconds of appearance in that scene. Then the monster attack yaddayadda and the 3 of us were: "IS HE DEAD ALREADY" but no, he wasn't.

The movie goes on and on and I see Suki trying to take a picture of Jin, so I said: "Why the fuck not" and since then, I tried to take a picture of him everytime there was a chance, but believe me: IT WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME ON SCREEN TO LAUGH AT HIM SEE HIS ACTING. Basically, Jin's role was to be the delivery boy, that sums up 90% of his character.

"Hello, do you need another delivery? Do you want me to call my dad? Not? CAN I TALK NOW?"

He actually looks good here.

And then we learned his character's name was Chikara (hint: none of us saw the trailer nor interviews before the movie, jsyk) and Aleh said "DID THEY SAY CHICLAYO???" and this is pretty funny if you're peruvian so I'll shut up now. Chiclayo is a samurai in training (or so it seems) who wants his father's (Oishi, a really good character whom I liked a lot) approval. Anyway, Chiclayo was behind the scenes praying for getting a line when HIS TIME TO SHINE COMES. He finds this guy nearly dying before his samurai competition and realizes he was bewitched. The mud-blood aka. Keanu Reeves appears and decides to take the guy's spot as the samurai.

The witch gets notice he was the first to leave KAT-TUN and tries to kill him too

Then there's a lot of drama and tears and everyone's sad and FINALLY: CHICLAYO'S BIG SCENE.

So he's eating at his house with mama and FATHER and his father asks him something.

"OMG OMG OMG I GET TO TALK NOW!!11!!1 7 YEARS IN LOS ANGELES HERE WE GO"

No, he doesn't get more lines than this one and other prior.

... Yeah. If you went to see 47 Ronin for Jin, you better quit now because it doesn't get better for him. At all.

Jin looking his chances of having the spotlight again fade away in the distance

Contrary to popular belief, he never talks to Keanu Reeves. I wish I was joking.

The plot thickens: Oishi gathers all of his samurai friends, son and mud-blood to get revenge on Naraku from Inuyasha. They decide to get their revenge, to clean their honor and in order to do so they need badass swords. So they go to a city of forgers and found out Naraku set it on fire and put guards to watch over it. The guards see our principal characters and get suspicious. Of course, it was Chiclayo's fault.

"YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, THESE AREN'T A PEASANT'S HANDS, THESE ARE THE HANDS OF A JOHNNY!!111!"

Oh, I forgot to tell you all that Jin actually does speak aside those 3 or 5 prior lines... Still, there's a catch...

"FATHER................."

"FATHER........................."

He doesn't say anything but "Father". I wish I was joking. AND AFTER THIS POINT IN THE MOVIE HE DOESN'T SPEAK EVER AGAIN. I WILL REPEAT MYSELF: WE DON'T HEAR JIN TALKING FOR THE NEXT HOUR. AT ALL. SO NO, ALL JIN FANS, GO AND DOWNLOAD THIS, DON'T GO TO THE CINEMA. DON'T GO TO THE CINEMA.

Delivery boy in action, delivering some water to some fella

Director: Oh hey it would be cool to make mud-blood and chiclayo friends of some sorts....
Director: OR MAYBE NOT *CUTS SCENES WHERE JIN SPEAKS NEAR KEANU REEVES*
Director: *ACTUALLY CUTS EVERY JIN SCENE*

Then THIS GOOD SCENE COMES. I believe this is the best scene Jin has even though he doesn't speak at all. All the ronins decide to sign their names after their resolution to die after getting their revenge. Oishi is the one holding the paper and when Chiclayo goes to sign up, they look intensely into each other's eyes AND SUCH A GOOD SCENE. I'm so glad there wasn't talking involved, it would have ruined the athmosphere.

BEST. JIN. SCENE.
And it lasts 3 seconds before another 3 hours of Keanu Reeves

With the help of Inuyasha and co, the 47 ronin get into Naraku's palace in order to ruin the wedding and save Ko Shibasaki from this film. Jin gets more solo scenes as an archer and those are pretty good. Insert here Inuyasha's song: "No more words".

"Look Theia, daddy was in a famous western film!!!"
"Papa you have like 6 minutes on screen and talk thrice"

Then comes the fight, we know Jin is somewhere but we don't see much of the fighting scenes because Oishi is killing Naraku and the mud-blood is killing the heir of Slytherin with Gryffindor's sword. After all the battle, the ronin came back to their town and Chiclayo's mother runs to see her child. My friends and I held our breath waiting for a "MOTHER.............." but it never came. We were truly disappointed.

"MOTH--"
"CUT SCENE CUT SCENE I SAID CUT"

The shogun is pissed off but allows them to commit seppuku.

"YAY I'M DYING WITH ALL MY FRIENDS!!1!11"

But then the Shogun is all: "Nah, let Chiclayo live, I need men like Oishi anyway".

Chiclayo realizing he'll be like Marius: Swore to die with his friends and is the only one to survive IN ORDER TO GET MARRIED. VIVA LA NIHON.

Jin realizes the movie ended and he talked just 5 times

Then all of them die but we got earlier a sweet scene of mud-blood swearing to Ko Shibasaki to find her in another live and film a better movie.

My friends and I weren't so sure he would be credited for being something between a thirdary character and an extra, so we had to take a picture

And that's basically the movie. Since I brought my university student ID, I got a discount for my ticket and only paid 5.50 soles (which is like 1.50 dollars I guess? Or maybe 1.70 dollars), which is actually a good price for this. If I had payed more I WOULD HAVE REGRETED IT, but nah, those were the best 5.50 soles invested in my life.

I'm so sorry for being lame, it's the first time I do these kind of posts, SORRY

No, I don't actually hate Jin, he isn't the most pleasant person either, but I just enjoy making fun of idols gomen nasai.

alelergh, kat-tun, 14: feb, sayita, i luv mah suki, 47 ronin, movies, akanishi jin
