Real life and then something happy
The quarter ended and with it awesome work-study position working with the IT department at Cascadia. The college also saw fit to cancel all four classes I need to complete my degree. So this quarter all I get to take is my internship. Fun and two credits.
I've applied for a full-time position with IT, the position directly above what I was doing. It would pay well, be damn near permanent and have benefits that make me shiver. The best benefit: I can take up to 6 credits per quarter for $10. If that falls through there is a temporary version of the position available in a few weeks. Either way I'll be set until Fall.
Oh and I'm moving out finally. Should be fun. Less than 40 days left in this hell hole of depravity and malcontention. Woo!
Right on to the happiest thing that has happened in a while. KISW had a Guitar Hero II tournament saturday night (I sent a lot of people email about it). Only Josh was available I guess. Well I took first. Won myself a Rolling Rock electric guitar and tickets to go see Killswitch Engage and DRAGON FORCE tommorow night. Josh gets to come because he rooted for me. All the winners from these tournaments are automatically entered into a final tournament where we get to play for another eletric guitar signed by Metallica. Hello eBay.
