Arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently against the floor.
"What did I send you out to do?"
"Shovel snow from the driveway."
"And what did you end up doing?"
"Uh..."
"Shovel snow down each other's shirts."
"Hey, we didn't-"
A burning glare is enough to snap his mouth shut. "Jonghyun-hyung, you're the older one here! I can't believe you would condone this kind of behavior!"
"He started it!"
"It doesn't matter who started it, you should've finished it!"
A soft snort is quickly silenced. "And you, Taemin. You're not fifteen years old anymore. Hell, you were better behaved back then!"
"Sorry, umma. I didn't mean to, honest."
Furious spluttering. "U-umma?! Don't you start, Lee Taemin, I know what you're trying to do."
"Aw, give us a break, Kibum. It was really cold out there, and my ankle kind of hurts now."
"... Well, you wouldn't have strained it so much if you hadn't dogpiled each other in the snow." But his voice is just a little hesitant now.
"Sorry, Kibum."
"Sorry, Kibum-hyung."
"Just... Don't do it again."
"We promise."
"Right. Minho, Jinki-hyung, go shovel the snow out of the driveway! The kids won't do it!"
A surreptitious high-five is drowned out by someone's indignant refusal.
