New here! And I'm just wondering if it's really all free write (As in you can write whatever comes to mind when you think of the prompt?)?

Yes! It is a freewrite, as long as you're inspired by the prompt (and keep your works to 100, 150, or 200 words) You don't necessarily need the words "there he goes" in your fic :) Hope that answers your question!
