I've always had a thing for structures, especially those that are run-down or abandoned. This photography series is compelling and sad and I'm quite surprised to find there are so many abandoned houses in one place, but it turns out they are probably taken in Detroit, which would make sense. So many of the homes are quite large and unique, and it is a shame they've gone to ruin. Others have been taken over by trees. There are quite a few that seem to have several boarded up homes all along the same block.
This inspires me to borrow a DSLR and go take photos of the same in Richmond. This weekend, perhaps.
