I am slowly learning how to cook. I made a bento (Japanese lunchbox) at a cooking class i went to a few weeks ago...it was tasty!
It's onigiri (rice-balls....mine happen to be misshappen because i suck at it), egg-omlette thingy, beef with konyaku jelly and vegetables, sweet squash, carrots, and fishcake and hot-dog for garnish. I am especially proud of the egg-omlette thingy--I was really good at making that one.
But that was in a classroom setting....the real test--on my own!!
My individual efforts. Not as pretty, not as filling, but still tasty. Fried chicken over rice with some crab salad on the side. I bought the fried chicken but I made the rice and crab salad...
And my most recent efforts:
Mommy sent me powdered soup mix, and some beef jerky. Soooo...I mixed the soup-stuff (oriental flavor)with rice and added the beef jerky. It is SOOOOO GOOD. And I did it alllll by myself.
Someday I will be as good a cook as my parents. I WILL!!
