Hella, or some Grindcore. The Locust or Vital Remains have crazy drumming.

Also Naked City/Jazz influenced apeshit stuff. Blame game too!

that's weird that it got thrown at you; i'm the only person i know that's seen it that really enjoyed it, and that was only watching it again.

battle royale will indeed always rule. i rented that shit endlessly from vision.

and now i'm curious. what exactly did you think was missing from tale of two sisters? it really did take two watches for me to get the subtleties, but if you didn't like it at all, it's definitely not worth watching again.

Yeah Battle Royale might have been an excellent satire on repression in Japanese society but Battle Royale 2 is just a badly done trite action movie.

I was really impressed with the depth BR had the first time I saw it. I went into expecting a silly gorey crazy film, but it actually has a lot to it.
