VGMAND 2015 Tokyo -Maneki Neko slamdunks my trip.
On the hottest day of my trip, I get the intense feeling that I should skipped Kamakura-Enoshima and see if I can slot this in for my next trip. The only thing I shot was the real life location for Slamdunk's opening before taking the train back. The crossing is just next to Kamakura kōkōmae Station. Oh and if you surf, the beach across the road seems quite a surfing spot. This is probably the place that gave me my intense tan.
That would be Enoshima, where I was suppose to go and stalk cats. It was said that Mt Fuji could be seen from this general angle and location, but clearly I'm out of luck for this whole trip.
So off I went to Gotokuji, taking the tram further into the residential area.
A short walk was needed to get to the area. I had a run-in with a local elderly resident who proceeded to gave me a mini tour and rough explanation of the place.
Unlimited Maneki Neko works. they can be bought at the shrine although I didn't get one.
