Another temple tour. Its a habit of mine to get up at 5am and leave before 7am. By the time I'm done with my two main temple tour by 10am the tourists start to arrive.
Anyway. The thing about temples is that most of the time their grounds is has vast gardens ands and stuff. At least until you step foot into the Kamakura temple (aka where Big Buddha statue is). No big gardens. just a small one that surround the Buddha and some shops and ammenities that's all. Its the most simple one compared to the various I've visited. Kinda makes you think
Yes but I do have a fave temple. Its the Hase Kannon temple. You could say its because of one of the residents. And you know I like cats. i didn't see this fella when I went into the temple. Its only when I came down from the hill that I spotted this fella sitting around
Kamakura beach. Looks kinda empty while I was there, other than a couple of surfers and fishermen and seagulls. Empty, empty beach
Hikawa Shrine in Omiya Saitama I never gone into a Shinto Shrine before. Miss a chance at Ise but manage to land one after the mildly boring Iwatuski romp (The traditional doll romp needs much replanning.
Anyway while at Omiya I came across folks taking kids to the temple celebrating Shichi-Go-San (7-5-3)
So some kids in kimonos, some adults in kimono. one tree line street
Narita-san Last day in Japan. Very lovely park, not enough time to take doll pics.
The park
And now I'll go home and spam my dolls in their new clothes and stuff. I has a new doll. Randal 'Hunter' Lee Wu Fei (aka Wolfy Sr). The Bunny Sisters' superior and Helen's subordinate. Few plushies outrank Helen. For that matter 2 only two other plushies are older than her )
The sisters are snickering away at the fact that he has to wear a wig and I forgot to buy extra slim male head for rooting
