Fan Forums always make me rethink my plans to create a webcomic.

'Cause I don't wanna deal with idiots. *sigh*

It's fun to watch "fans" make asses of themselves.

I've been reading through stuff in the Dominic Deegan forums and lj community. I should be working on my Japanese thing that's due... Um... Today now. Yay procrastination.

I'm actually not particularly fond of fan forums and fan communities for comics and stuff. There are just too many assholes who like to continuously voice their opinion on how THEY can make the comic better or something. *sigh* If they don't like the art, the story, the plot, etc. They don't have to read it. The comments that annoyed me the most were bitching about the fact that it's not as funny as it used to be or the story is too long or sommat. Dominic Deegan is Mookie's creation. It's his story.

I LIKE how it is. I like the story. I like the art. The pacing doesn't bother me. I don't bitch and complain because I am merely a reader. I am a fan. I am NOT the artist. I am NOT the writer. Therefore I don't feel it's my place to complain about Mookie's writing choices. I'll only complain if he makes grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. I will admit that I was angry when Gregory's white magic was taken away, but maybe it'll play a big role later on. Who knows. He might get it back. I don't know what else Mookie may have written down somewhere. So I've accepted the event and I've moved on. I let it go. Some people seem to have trouble doing that. How strange.

I don't know where people get the idea of Dominic and Luna becoming Mary Sues. They are far from being Mary Sues. These people have to be new to the game if they can't properly identify a Mary Sue. A Mary Sue is a character that is perfect in every way. Dominic and Luna are far from perfect.

Seriously, what is it with fans and their need to try to control the very thing they're a fan of? What is it? I am a fan of so many things, but when it comes to the creator's choices I accept them in the end. I might not like it, but I accept that the creator made a decision and I respect it. Doesn't mean I can't have an opinion, but I at least respect the person. Some of the comments I see have nothing but disrespect behind 'em. They can have their opinion, but the least they can do is be respectful of the author/artist.

"Whine. Bitch. I don't like this. Whine. Bitch. I think it should be like this. Whine. Bitch." And it goes on. It pisses me off.

My response to that stuff: "Live with it. You didn't write or draw it. Not your choice. Suck it up."

These people choose to share their creations with the public and I hate that there are people who want to try to control what the writer/artist does. I dislike people who constantly complain about choices the writer/artist makes in their story or with their characters. It's THEIR story. They can do whatever the hell they want to do. If you don't like it then don't read it! Don't go around bitching about it constantly and being disrespectful of the person's hard work. I especially dislike it when people complain about something in the story when the story isn't even over yet! What the crap! The story ain't over! Things may change! Then again there are people who only live in the now and don't... No... I think it's more that they CAN'T see beyond what is now. They don't see the big picture. Silly people. =D

Humans are strange.

Watched the Exorcist today. So far it hasn't frightened me, but I wasn't completely paying attention. We also watched Silent Hill. I love that movie. Pyramid Head is fun. =D

Okay. Enough procrastination. I gotta get this done and also study for a test.

.... No sleep for me. =D

Catch ya' on the flipside, mates!
