Well, the first performance of Carousel went off with a few hitches, but everyone recovered beautifully and it was a success. The line that has made it to the entry title seems to be troublesome for Matt. He always pauses a bit after he says "minister's" because he has to make sure he selects the right word. Minister's house and minister's wife are both involved in his lines, but in different ones. XD Tammi and Matt's bloopers tend to be the best. Kevin, who is playing Billy Bigalow, did crack a rib when he had to pretend to stab himself and fall down. >>;; I heard he's doing okay though.
Unfortunately my mother will not be able to perform. She's been having way too many things happen. It all started on the fourth of July. She got sick from something and we think that might be when her eye tore. Yeah. She got a retinal tear. Went to the doctor and got it fixed. However when she went to the ER on Tuesday they gave her morphine and her stomach didn't appreciate it, so she got a show of her stomach contents. We thought everything was fine after that. Well... Not so much... She went to the doctor yesterday for a check up and they discovered two new tears in her retina and they had to fix them and patch her eye. She is restricted to resting at home because they're worried about the tears getting worse and her retina becoming detached. *Sigh* so she can't participate in the musical. I took over her line and the petal work. T.T it still makes me really sad that all this has happened to her. She's just crushed about not being able to perform. After all her hard work. Though she's hoping to come to the Sunday matinee and maybe sneak in to the finale. Her costume is already at the church and the song doesn't go that high for her. She's been through so much in the past couple weeks. A change in the wind has to be coming soon for her. All I can do is continue to help around the house and make things as stress free as possible.
I glazed more of my pottery and even retrieved a few pieces. Two are sellable, but one... eh... Not so much. The glaze bubbled up and the bubbles keep breaking and making sharp surfaces. I'll use it to hold business cards, but if someone wants to buy it, then okay. I'm gonna sand down the bubbles anyway. Kruegers is really backed up though. I still have 6 things to glaze and the rest of my stuff hasn't even been fired yet. *sigh* I have to make sure to retrieve what's left of my clay, so I can keep it safe. Though fitting in times when I can go and finish up the clay will mean getting up earlier. --;; Oh well. I need to get it all done anyway. *shrug* meh. Maybe I can pay ahead of time and just go in during class times.
Time to start working out a schedule so I can get all my projects done in time. I'll have to change my sleep schedule so I get more out of the day. I have scarves, photos, and some fanart stuff to complete for a portfolio. My Nanao costume has been shipped! Yay! I just have to order a wig now. Time to search!
I'm rereading
Crap I Drew On My Lunch Break by Jin Wicked. I love her stuff.
I have officially finished both of my courses and I think I might've gotten an A in both of 'em. Yays!
Catch ya' on the flipside, mates!
