I think I freaked out the people sitting next to me 'cause I said it rather loud. XD
I am completely addicted to Groomer Has It. It's a competition reality show for dog groomers. I love it. It makes me want to learn how to groom dogs. I would like to at least learn the basics about how to properly bathe dogs and some simple grooming basics as well. I don't really see myself as a professional dog groomer, but I'd really like to have some experience. Especially since in the end I really want to have a career or sommat involving dogs.
I listened to the new Nightwish CD as I worked on laundry last night. The new vocalist doesn't have the same sound as Tarja, but she brings her own style and it sounds marvelous.
I've gotten all 30 of my little Tohru onigiris done. All I have to do is paint them, which will happen once I'm done with the others. Next up are the Ayame snakes. I'm probably going to have all the animals in a down position because I'm not sure about how stable I can make them if I want them to stand. >> Besides all those animals do lie down at some point... Well, horses don't really lay down unless they're sick, but considering the fact that Rin gets sick a lot it makes sense.
My panic is relieved a little bit since I visited the Anime Iowa forums. They send confirmation emails out in bulk at the end of each month, so I understand a bit more about what's going on. I still worry, but I'm a bit better now.
So. I got into a manga called Beauty is the Beast and I get to the fifth volume and suddenly realize.... That was the last volume! It ended rather suddenly. --;; Though it did end better than Mugen Spiral. Once the two characters in Beauty is the Beast realized that they loved each other then there was nothing that could keep them apart. She could've gotten at least one more volume out of it, but oh well. So it goes. Mugen Spiral however... The story line was left hanging! grrr.
Meh. Oh well. Not much else is happening. I saw the new Indiana Jones movie. I really liked it. As a sequel it was done well. It sorta tied up loose ends and made references to other movies and even the Young Indiana Jones tv series that I used to watch as a child. I would recommend seeing it. Though they didn't really stick with the original legend of the crystal skulls. Yes. Crystal skulls do exist and there is a legend about them. It's actually quite fascinating.
Anyway. Everything else is boring. My parents are on my case about my stuff being scattered around the house, but I have no where else to put it until I can move into the house in Kirksville. I probably won't be able to seriously attack the stuff in my room until I've graduated and have an actual place of my own to move into. Actually... My parents want me to get a storage locker here so I can go through things. For me the best way to get out of their nagging is to concentrate on my projects. >> The reason they bug me is because I haven't been doing a lot of productive things. Well, time to knuckle down and get serious about the stuff for the artist table. I also have to design my artist avatar and create patterns for the various fabric projects I plan to do. *sigh* The time of being a lazy slacker is over. I want to avoid a scramble, so I gotta step up. I shall channel Yamada of Honey & Clover for pottery and Ishida of Bleach for sewing projects... Sculpting... hmm... Hagu! I shall channel Hagu of Honey & Clover. Yay for anime about art students!
Speaking of stepping up. I should go to bed so I can actually get up at a reasonable hour. --;;
Catch ya' on the flipside, mates!
