Late night + Kinda cheesy anime + Me + Rachael + Sarah = Insanity

I am feeling lazy, so this will not be a very productive entry. I'll write a better one some time tomorrow or sommat to talk about classes. I don't feel like writing a post about classes. I will say that I love them and I am having a great time at school. I'm in a much better living situation this year, so that really helps. Still getting counseling though. I am happier, but there's so many issues that I have to work on. I'm ready to work on being myself more often.

This weekend was fun. I went to the Japanese Festival at the Botanical Garden on Saturday. I spent way too much money, but I saved up for it. I got a couple books, prints, some anime stuff, and some clothes. I'm especially excited about my jacket. Not entirely what I've been looking for, but it still works really well. Had donburi, which is a rice bowl, with chicken teriyaki. Very yummmy. Totally worth the 20 minute wait in line plus the 15 minute wait for the rice. The garden was beauiful. I saw a Cat Bird and a Kingfisher! Cat Birds are so rare to see! I also saw a baby cardinal with its parents as well as a bunch of hummingbirds. ^^ <3 Love hummingbirds. Everything was so pretty. I love that garden. It's crowded during the festival, but most of the time no one really goes out there, so it's normally fairly peaceful.

Sunday was the Cardinals game. w00t. No metrolink adventure like last time, but we did get free entertainment at the Forest Park stop (we had to switch trains). Some guy in the top condo was lounging on his balcony and a planter below had caught on fire. More smoldering than actual flames, but there was a lot of smoke. The guy was a smoker, so I wouldn't be surprised if he tossed a few cigs over the railing. Some guys at the station yelled at him about it and he meandered in his place eventually and came out with a water bottle. With said water bottle he began to try to put out the fire. It was highly amusing. No idea if he succeeded, but a lot of the coconut planting stuff fell out. XD I'm sure his neighbor came back and was like: WTF! XD whoo! Free entertainment rocks!

I'm gonna go home again in two weeks because Krugers was closed for the Labor Day weekend. --;; So I gotta glaze my pots. Plus Sara's gonna be in town and I haven't seen her in at least four years! ^^ <3 Super exciting. Besides, my parents are going to my brother's family weekend thing in Rolla during the last weekend in the month, so no point in going home then. It would probably depress me and freak me out. Dunno whether I'll stay for Anime Club the next weekend I go home or not. I kinda missed it. Bleh. I'll decide eventually.

All in all. Things are much better than they were last year. I'm happier and more myself. My room is fun, but it's far from being together. I haven't checked to see if the people sent me all the hardware at once. Yeah. I bought a bookcase in wal-mart and it had NO HARDWARE in it! @_@ So I had to order the damn stuff. Oh well. It was free anyway. ^^ It'll eventually come together. I don't plan to take a ton of stuff back home for winter break. Why? 'cause it's a pain.

Rachael, Sarah, and I watched Whispers of the Heart tonight. I've never seen it and it's so good, but it's so easy to make fun of! So cute, yet so cheesy. XD However, I understand the strong urge to write. *sigh* ^^ It's a great story.

Oh yeah! The bandaid tape thingy finally came off my face! Yay! However, now I have a stern regiment of moisturizer and sunscreen every day to protect it and keep the skin from pulling my lower eyelid. Still, now I don't have that stupid thing there. though.. I kinda miss it. *shrug* Two weeks of seeing it on my face. I got used to having it there. --;;; Yesh, I know I'm weird.

I need to get things ready for tomorrow and then go to bed. I'm exhausted.

Oyasuminasai, minna-san!
