We took to the streets!
It was so impulsive. My roommate came in the living room and said, "There's a rally in red square let's go!" All I had was chapstick and my house key. No cellphone, no money, nothing. We rallied with two thousand of our nation's finest. We broke all rules of silence as thousands of us mobbed into the library. Dominated streets. Blocked cars. Chanted. Sang. Hi-Fived strangers. Busses slowed down so we could run our flag alongside while giving all their passengers thumbs up. Marched over the bridge so no one saw anything but students. I walked for 5 miles with my friends screaming, "Yes we can!" We woke up old folks who came outside in their pajamas cheering for us and taking pictures. We saw cop cars creating a barricade on the streets. We made it! A party on the streets of Seattle with people climbing light posts and people banging pots and pans!!!
