Ever since I was in the lower grade of elementary school and still didn’t know about the presence of the agency called Johnny’s, I have been listening to a lot of Arashi’s songs. Particularly, I really liked their third single, “Typhoon Generation”. With that, I got the feeling of “I want to be like Arashi too!”, and I entered Johnny’s when I was 13 years old. But since then, there’s hardly been any work where I was together with Arashi. Similarly, in last year’s “Kohaku Uta Gassen”, I wonder if they weren’t near our first dressing room. In that Kohaku, just before Sexy Zone’s performance, I received an e-mail saying, “Good luck!” from Sakurai Sho-kun. I got really hyped up. In Sakurai-kun’s birthday this year, I sent a congratulatory e-mail. At the end of his birthday on January 25, at 11:59 (laughs). “I admire Arashi’s members, and you’re senpai that always give me motivation, but in reverse, I want to become a kouhai that can give you motivation”, I said. And then I got a reply saying, “From now on, do your best in order not to lose your momentum”. The first time I saw Arashi, the members were around my current age, but I wonder if I will be shining like Arashi when I become 32 years old…? From now on, by all means, I want to do a lot of work together with them. Particularly, please let me appear one time in VS Arashi! I ask for your favor (laughs).

This is super cute! I love reading about senpai-kouhai relationships within the jimusho. In addition, Arashi is my number one favorite Johnny’s group and Sexy Zone is my newest fandom, so this was an absolute treat for me. It seems to me that Fuma has quite significant ties to Arashi. He debuted in a five-membered volleyball support group like Arashi. I heard his father wrote the lyrics for A.Ra.Shi., though I don’t know if this is confirmed or not, as the credited songwriter for it is J&T which probably a pen name. Also, he’s the second Johnny’s to enter Keio, after Arashi’s Sakurai Sho, whom Fuma has considered as his admired senpai even before that. Kore wa DESTINY! LOLJK. Okay, I’ll shut up now. XD
Oh please, someone from the VS Arashi, grant Fuma’s request and have Sexy Zone go head to head with Arashi. That would be awesome. Although I guess it would be unfair to pit Sexy Zone against guys that are almost twice their average age. Haha! Okay then, even just Fuma is alright, if he’ll be their plus one.
