headliner of the century right there. The retreat was truly amazing. I cannot even begin to explain how much i learned. We got there on tuesday and we picked out our rooms and such and then we met and picked our four random people. First i had Miss Christine Orfei, then i had the lovely Ellen larson, Miss Steph Sexton, and Mister Timothy J. Flesch. let me just tell you, everyone on this retreat is truly an amazing person. And our funny quote from tuesday morning is, "Oooh! Rustic!" from the fabulous Elise Radford. we had lunch and did our interviews and all those fun things and we honestly just bonded. the seriously emotional time was the affirmation circle. we had three hours to write affirmations to each person on the retreat and it was the toughest thing i have ever done in my life. i spilled everything. we had our circle and almost all the girls cried and mr powers snorted a lot and it honestly was just such a captivating evening. i will neverforget the look on each of your faces when you were in the hot seat, which truly was hot. damn fire!
today we finished our last two interviews and did yoga. oh and ps, we watched Super Troopers and Fight Club. Totally kickass. so then we kinda packed up and said goodbye to the place, got our last free cups of hot cocoa, packed up, and headed home. on the way out there we were all kinda scattered on the bus.. on the way home, we were all clumped together.
I'm not going into details here because it was too special of a retreat. i love and miss you guys already. I'm having serious retreat withdrawl. Thank for you all the lessons you taught me and being there for me. Those key conversations will be in my mind and my heart for years to come. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
on a less serious emotional note.... MILITARY BALL IS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!
