Some good fics
I have decided to start linking some fics that I like as I read them, for my benefit if no one ever looks at this journal, or if you are actually looking, these can be taken as recs. :-)
Rather than begin searching through my favorite stories, I am going to start by stories that I have read in the last couple of days that I liked.
Aristeia by eumenides1
Sirius/James, NC-17
Written for the Classic Canon Challenge (hp_classic), it features Sirius and James as Achilles and Patroclus. Very well written, it offers good characterization and an interesting relationship with the tragic canon ending. And there is a prequel- Unrequited, NC-17.

Tom Riddle, PG-13
A wonderful ficlet showing Tom Riddle as a student of Hogwarts. It shows how some of his views were formed, written for theatrical_muse.
Our Fair Ladies by Nope
femmeslash, Umbridge.... hard R
The characterizations are great, and Umbridge, a character who is so buearocratically evil is perfect. The imagery is also especially well done.
Choosing Loyalties by ntamara
Lord Voldemort/Severus Snape, Severus Snape/Harry Potter, NC-17
This fic just makes me smile. A very interesting AU, where Harry Potter is kidnapped by Lord Voldemort instead of going to Hogwarts. It shows Harry's views of the world wonderfully, and explores his character quite well. I love the Tom Riddle - Harry Potter interaction, and even the Snarry in it does not throw me off. Also features a motherly Nagini, always fun.
Passage to Eden by rushlight75
Lucius/Draco, NC-17
Warning: incest, drugs
This is a wonderful incest fic, and Draco's interpretations of what is happening to him through a haze of sex and drugs are especially well done. This fic made me love the pairing.
Anger Management by saeva and idiotparade
Harry/Remus, NC-17
Warning: some mild S&M
Very long and very, very good. The characterizations of Harry as a teenager and Remus as an adult in a relationship are particularly well done, and the sex scenes are very good.
Oh, there are so many more that I should post, but I have an exam in 8 hours and I need to study and sleep, so I will write more tomorrow. :-)
