my how things have changed
I completely forgot about this place until I saw that George R.R. Martin had one and I had to get back in and re-read all of my old posts... weird to think that some of the stuff I thought was SO HUGE and so important really didn't mean all that much. And then it's also strange that the big moments that I do remember, I don't remember as clearly and I thought I had. My emotions were so raw and torn and those memories have dulled to practically nothing with time. I wish I wrote more posts about actual EVENTS and real feelings as opposed to the vague mishmash of high school drama and "this sucks, I suck, you suck" and "awesome, cool, amazing, wow". There are so many other FANTASTIC words and they were lost on me. I'm sure a lot of them still are now. A thesaurus is a purchase that needs to be made.
Can I go back to those memories and rip them apart for everyone to see? I have my written journals too - I know those will help. It will be difficult, but I think I can do it. I need a creative outlet.
BUT in real-time news. I leave for Europe in 3 days and I could not be more excited. It's finally happening.
