I don't think I can do justice to this story, but I'll try...
My darling
eveofdstruction called me this morning to tell me about a conversation she and
ramonarjona were having with their daughter.
Said offspring was watching a kidshow which centered around a wedding, what it was like what to expect. In the show, the father was saying, and it all ends with a big kiss like this, and then dips the mother into a spectacularly swooping kiss.
The parental units said something to the effect of, "but you don't really see anyone kissing like that, do you?"
"OH YES!" responds the child, "Auntie and Matt. I sneaked up on them and saw it!" And there was much giggling about her knowing this secret thing about us.
Personally, I am delighted to set an example of adult affection for the kids, and apparently a rather memorable one at that.
Plus...
she didn't make barfing noises at us like my daughter, who has also taken to telling us we are going straight to hell because of our incessant PDA*.
:: giggle ::
*"public" in this case being my very own kitchen.
