it's my birthday
which is usually my least favourite day of the year besides valentine's day.
BUT
this year, i've had fun. because i've got some amazing people in my life. and they do crazy things like take the scary Gatra into town just to buy me a birthday cake, or spend forever cutting out "happy birthday" out of construction paper, or drive forever just to see me, or stay up until 12:01 am just to be the first person to say "happy birthday," or call me even though they're older and Irish and not quite up with the cell phone thing, or "go out and have a glass of wine" for me, or call even though they're dying of the flu, or leave away messages/facebook messages that say things like "i love Meghan Elizabeth," or call even though they've had a horrible day.
I'm happy to be alive this birthday, and that's something special.
