From _if/Carla--Do not access the Russian/Sausage meme. I'm no expert, but I took a look at the raw code and it appears to be Javascript that updates your journal automatically using cookies, your login and the update form. I'm not sure if it sends your password somewhere, but the form is responding to someone. That is, if this is similar to the "sausage" meme going around. There is a specific version of this code that is snagging passwords. If you want to know more about the technical details, check out this warning concerning these types of Javascript "auto-update" memes.

I already did the meme! What the hell do I do now?!

1. Access Internet Explorer. Go to Tools > Internet Options.
2. Select Delete Cookies, Delete Files, and Clear History.
3. Change your Livejournal password.
4. Make sure your Firewall is on and that you have logged out. Binding your login to your IP is your safest bet and always select for livejournal to LOG OUT when the browser closes.
5. Delete the entry.

I didn't *want* to do the meme! It did it anyway!
1. Do the same steps as above.
2. These things update automatically using your cookies and your livejournal's login. Remember to always log-out.

Remember. The meme swipes your password. Do not do it, or if you did: change the password immediately, delete cookies and remember to log out. Delete the entry.
