random short poll, because i'd love to learn more about my friends:
1. name a song that's your song for right now. it keeps going through your head (good or bad), it speaks to you, it makes you wreck your car, whatever.
2. enlighten us regarding what you look for in music you deem 'good': is it the beat? lyrics? do you prefer male or female singers? no guitars? yodeling? no points for saying you're all over the place - when in doubt, dissect your favorite bands.

2. good music, to me, needs to have a good beat. that doesn't necessarily mean a fast beat, though obviously i'm a sucker for booty-shaking beats. and tight lyrics are a must. L7, straight from a rhyming dictionary lyrics - ew. my favorite bands/albums combine these two, such as the killers "hot fuss" and the cure.
