the end, the journey
the sopranos finale has been consuming my thoughts since sunday night. after a second watching, and a different end shot, i still have the same theory: tony and the crew are alive and kicking, but we, the audience, have been whacked. we're no longer necessary. as the journey song says, the movie goes on and on and on and on. it's all about the journey, not the destination.
