Bye bye Naruto
Awwww the little crossover tributes in OP and Naruto this week are so sweet.
That said, haven't read the actual OP chapter yet and am in too terrible of a mood right now to go into detailed reactions (read the chapter earlier when I was in a considerably better mood) so this is kind of a rushed post.
Things I liked, in no particular order:
1. SARADA. SO CUTE
2. Asuma's daughter!!
3. Ino being fierce about the Inoshikachou thing
4. Kiba hitting on a catlady. LOL.
5. Gaara's new outfit....
6. Wooooo Shikamaru/Temari confirmed.
7. Gai/Kakashi moment. Aww.
Stuff I'm totally convinced about:
1. Orochimaru/Kabuto are the Bill Gates of the ninja world. one or the other or both. Hence the sudden tech boom.
2. Lee adopted, just like Gai more or less adopted him.
"Not sure how I feel":
1. Sasuke/Sakura had all the bones for a really interesting/nuanced relationship. All wasted. I guess I'm glad it plays out the way it does though, because I think given Kishimoto's weaknesses this is probably the best result we could have hoped for.
2. ex-Mizukage...... well she was always a shitty character
3. Gaara's hair.....
4. Sai/Ino.... lmao.....
"disappoint":
1. Awww, no steampunk prosthetics?? :P
2. Housewife Sakura. Meh.
