Internet at home died. Turned out to be because SBC changed their login err, format I guess? Because we had been dialing in with just "username" and "password", but now it has to be "username@pacbell.net" Weird. By the time I figured it out though I was too tired to do anything anyway. (So had another LOTR-watching marathon.)
Still tired. I'm always tired. There's too much I want to do, or I waste so much of my time doing it, that there's no time left to sleep. Oh well. I'll live. (You'd think I'd be USED to it by now. XD)
Creative juices are flowing though, which makes me happy. Happy happy happy. LOTR is always just so damn inspirational for me. And I finally got around to watching the appendices, which are utterly fascinating. Of particular interest to me were the LOTR music documentaries (because I am totally a music geek -- the ROTK one especially is awesome, I had no idea Billy Boyd wrote Pippin's song by himself, or that Liv Tyler sang that Houses of Healing song) and one of the TTT documentaries called something like "Warriors of the Third Age," which was on the stunt extras and on training the actors to do fight scenes. (I've been doing a lot of research for writing action sequences lately, I've found, and this one really helps solidify some stuff in my head. I'm a very visual oriented person, so reading about fighting techniques and the like doesn't help as much as it could sometimes. But watching this helped A LOT.) Still haven't finished watching the one on the horses though, but do intend to eventually.
This is old news, but just have to squee about it here:

Quiz...
You are the Death card. Death is a stage in the
cycle of life. Without death, there would be no
room for new things to grow. When you receive
the Death card in a tarot reading, fear not;
Death is only an indication that transformation
is about to occur. Death allows us all to
evolve by removing that which is no longer
needed. The end of one cycle makes way for a
new one. Old behaviours and patterns which have
tied us down are released. Death cleans house
so that we don't have needless drains on our
energy. In Death's ruthless destruction there
lies compassion. Image from: Danielle Sylvie

You are the Sun card. The light of the Sun reveals
all. The Sun is joyful and bright, without fear
or reservation. The childish nature of the Sun
allows you to play and feel free. Exploration
can truly take place in the light of day when
nothing is hidden. The Sun's rays fill you with
energy so that you may live life to its
fullest, milking pleasure out of each day. Such
joy and energy can bring wealth and physical
pleasure. To shine in the light of day is to
have confidence, to soak up its rays is to feel
the freedom of a child. Image from: Stevee
