Ghetto Christmas.
Our tree this year was pathetic. Multi-colored lights, red garland, a few new ornaments my mom bought (she loves them and Hallmark), and a ton of silver tinsel. The thing is a hot mess, a drag queen tree glammed up, but still looking frumpy. I have a picture of it, but I was instructed I was not suppose to post it to Facebook. Too bad.
This year I was very Christmas apathetic. Not a Grinch or an Ebenezer Scrooge, but lacking a passion for holiday spirit.
Christmas morning, the presents are under the tree not even wrapped. They're in the plastic bags or just random boxes. Hence, the ghetto Christmas. I am not annoyed with the lack of effort, but rather content how Christmas turned out this year. Everybody is home, healthy and happy. Wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a lucky dude and thankful for everything.
