Grr...
I just heard from a few people yesterday that Detroit is closing down their animal control facilities due to budget cuts for "non-essential" services. All of the animals there will be euthanized if they aren't adopted or placed in other shelters by Dec. 17th. It makes me so ANGRY knowing that all these animals may die just so a certain douche-bag of a mayor can keep himself and his posse rolling in bling-bling Escalades.
I so wish I could help just one of these animals. But we just don't have the space right now. :(
