I'm not posting very much at the moment as I'm struggling not to whine repeatedly. I also feel that if I'm going to clutter your friends page with a post, I should post something deep and meaningful about Life, or at least something vaguely interesting.
In pursuit of this, I intended to post about a little-known creature (demodex) but was disgusted to realise that one cannot rip images from Google directly into an LJ post. I hope I'm not going to have to upload to Image Shack just to post crap. Please let me know if there is an easy way to do this (with a free LJ account).
Anyway, I spent the weekend trying to chill out a bit. This resulted in a Friends watching frenzy and the near completion of my current LARP project, a patchwork tailcoat. Today I'm doing my ALERT course (Acute Life-threatening Events: Recognition and Treatment). It's pretty basic so far, but I'm not complaining because the free lunch was fantastic. And it's another day I don't have to go anywhere near the wards or my consultant, thus avoiding the cute little social paranoia I'm developing. Only five weeks of medicine to go (and counting).
