Doukyuusei~
Been watching all sorts of anime as of late; mostly those I watched when I was a kid. It's mostly some kind of escape from my dull yet complicated reality. Anyway, I don't really remember why though, but I sorta ended up choosing BL anime and so here I am now. lol
Most of the BL anime / manga I happen to encounter are like, hardcore. Then there's my first BL manga way back 2011 I guess? titled Seven Days. and then this post's subject, Doukyuusei~
Somehow I find it entertaining to read / watch pure shounen ai~ they can be quite creative with the initial meeting or just a really natural flow but either way, they're adorable and bittersweet.
While Seven Days is the former, Doukyuusei is the perfect example of the natural flow.
Classmates at an all-boys high school,
two completely different kinds of personalities,
Simple and relatable issues they encounter.
The story itself is quite simple. At first I actually thought it was dull. But then a few minutes into the movie, there's light humor and it totally captured my heart.
Add to that, the fact that Kamiya Hiroshi voiced the main character <3 it's just perfect!
Seriously, I've seen the movie around two weeks ago and I'm still not over it. lol.
Currently checking out the manga and found out it has two sequels~ guhhhh~
And looking for other BL stuff to turn my attention to. Hopefully something that can measure up to how much I enjoyed Doukyuusei.
