(no subject)
So work went kinda blah-ly today. I was supposed to get at least 2 members, which I did, but at least one of them was supposed to give me at least $60, which I didn't, and I was supposed to get 4 letters, and I got one, but I did contact 40 people, which is a good number. But overall, I wasn't feelin' the Sunset district. No love for me there. One guy even thinks we're gonna win the war, but (I didn't ask him this), at what cost? On the other hand, a couple of people were really nice. One lady, from Jordan, didn't have any money because she got broken into and is living with her brother, but she invited me in to talk to her and gave me some tea. Which was good, but who knows if she was trying to drug me. At least it was nice and warm.
To top off the night, I returned to my car after 10pm and, lo and behold, a nice yellow piece of paper from the city of Berkeley, telling me I had blocked a driveway. And that I now owe them $47.00. Blargh. And it says I blocked it 75%, even though it couldn't have been even 50%. I definitely didn't see the damn driveway, and even if I had, I don't think it counts as one, because it was so tiny.
