Ian Salter:
The T-Virus is what causes the zombie epidemic in the Resident Evil games, so, that's why I'm saying you're lucky that's not what you're sick with
6:37 PM
Shilo Wallace:
That would be an awful thing to be infected with.
6:38 PM
Ian Salter:
If I remember correctly, at the end of the third game, the government bombs Racoon City to prevent the epidemic from spreading
6:39 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I've never heard of a game like this before, but it sounds kind of scary.
6:40 PM
Ian Salter:
Well, they were, they're horror video games
6:41 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I guess that makes sense, then.
6:42 PM
Ian Salter:
I shouldn't say were, Resident Evil 5 just came out a couple months back, so, it's not over
6:44 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I wonder if that's something I could talk my dad into finding for me. He doesn't really let me play video games, though.
6:46 PM
Ian Salter:
Actually, I loved Repo, usually, horror and music don't mix, although one of my favorite musicals did, and it worked
6:48 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I agree. I thought the two things went together very well. People ought to put scary movies and music together more often, I think.
6:49 PM
Ian Salter:
I mean Little Shop of Horrors worked, then again, in that case, it was meant as a comedy
6:52 PM
Shilo Wallace:
But it still worked. And it works very well, I think, in Sweeney Todd, too. (Don't tell my dad that I've seen that.)
6:53 PM
Ian Salter:
I won't, Shi, I can keep a secret
6:53 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Thank you.
6:54 PM
Ian Salter:
The only case I know of it failing is Carrie, which is still considered one of the biggest flops in Broadway history
6:55 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I've never seen that.
6:56 PM
Ian Salter:
Well, it was 1988, I was born the year before it hit Broadway
6:57 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Oh, wow. That's a really, really long time ago.
6:58 PM
Ian Salter:
Based on Stephen King's novel..
6:58 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Dad used to have some Stephen King books on the shelf in his room. He never let me look at them.
7:00 PM
Ian Salter:
He's a master of horror, I read The Shining in 10th grade, I couldn't sleep for weeks
7:01 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Maybe I'll have to sneak into his room and borrow one or two!
7:02 PM
Ian Salter:
He also does Drama well, Stand by Me was based on one of his novellas
7:04 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I don't really know that one, either.
7:17 PM
Ian Salter:
You know, the last movie I saw Alexa Vega (She played you) in was Spy Kids 3-D
7:18 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I've seen the first Spy Kids movie, but not any of the ones that followed. I love Alexa, though! She's fantastic.
7:19 PM
Ian Salter:
And Anthony Head is still Rupert Giles to me
7:20 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Who's that?
7:21 PM
Ian Salter:
Anthony Stewart Head, played your dad, a lot of his fans just call him Anthony Head, and Rupert Giles was his character on Buffy
7:22 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Well, I know Mr. Head. He's also pretty fantastic, even if he is creepily similar to my dad. But I'm afraid I don't know Buffy.
7:22 PM
Ian Salter:
Odd thing is, back in the early 90's, he was in Rocky Horror
7:23 PM
Shilo Wallace:
I hear a lot of people talk about that movie, too, but I've never seen it.
7:24 PM
Ian Salter:
Same thing with Bill Mosely, to me, he's Chop Top from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
7:25 PM
Shilo Wallace:
You sure know a lot of movies!
7:26 PM
Ian Salter:
I'm a movie buff, and well, Paris, she's not really a actress, I mean, House of Wax was billed "See Paris Die"
7:26 PM
Shilo Wallace:
If she's anything like Amber Sweet, in real life, I can't imagine she doesn't deserve that.
7:27 PM
Ian Salter:
Let me put it this way, she has a show on MTV, just so she can find a new best friend
7:27 PM
Shilo Wallace:
That sounds exactly like something Amber would do!
7:28 PM
Ian Salter:
Not to mention she became famous when her ex-boyfriend released a tape of her and him having sex, before that, she was only known because she's the heiress to hotel money
7:29 PM
Shilo Wallace:
That's terrible!
7:30 PM
Ian Salter:
She's so bright either, on her show The Simple Life, the family she and Nicole Richie were staying with told her they were going to Wal-Mart, she responds "What's Wal-Mart, do they sell Wall stuff?"
7:31 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Well...I'm not defending her or anything, but...I don't know what a wal-mart is, either.
7:32 PM
Ian Salter:
It's okay, Shi, got to remember, you're a few years ahead of me
7:32 PM
Shilo Wallace:
That's true. I guess we don't really have things like that anymore.
7:34 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Oh, darn. I should probably go. It's starting to get late and I still wanted to go out to the cemetary tonight before my dad came home.
7:34 PM
Ian Salter:
Okay, see you tomorrow
7:35 PM
Shilo Wallace:
Hopefully so! Bye!
