Catching up
First: on the air again tonight, 5 to 7 pm, WHCM 88.3 FM (transmitting from Palatine). Listen and dislike. Or not.
Second: that bad news I had last week? My Director is leaving to take a better job elsewhere. It's bad news because he's damn good, and I can't imagine getting anyone as good. I've seen, oh, man, like a half dozen people in his position (in its various phases) over the last 18 years, and he was easily the best. Oh well, it's not like there's anything I can do about it other than wish him good luck. At least I have a supervisor between my position and the Director position, and my supervisor isn't going anywhere (and she's damn good too).

Fourth: I have a MT337 show to do in LA on February 16. 24 days. I haven't even started transcribing yet. I'd better get cracking.
Fifth: I got my W2 in the mail on Saturday, the earliest I've ever received it. Naturally, I filed my tax return on Saturday night. I should have my refund on the 31st. Woo-hoo.
Sixth: A plug for another section of my website. It's rare to come across something truly unique on the internet. Usually when you do, you step back and go "This person's got problems." So take a look at my contribution to uniqueness, and decide whether I'm troubled or not. The Movie Titles Page
