(no subject)
I can tell I'm going to have an absolutely miserable day tomorrow. It'll be my first day back to work since December 23, for starters. I have a cold and feel like crap. I haven't even been outside of the house since Saturday. We're not allowed to call in sick after a holiday. We're supposed to have snow flurries. I need to return this film scanner, there's a 14 day limit on returns of this kind so it must go back tomorrow. I have no choice, I can't stay home tomorrow.
I'm wishing I'd put in for vacation days (like SO many other people did) this Thursday and Friday, but I need to save them for the trip to Los Angeles. Hopefully I can go in, do a few things, then take half a sick day and leave, stopping to return the scanner before heading home. If the weather isn't too bad, it won't take me an hour to get home at that time of day.
*sigh*
