Well I guess Columbia living is improving...slowly...

Work is sucking, but I think that's to be expected.

Shane is MARVELOUS, and things are only getting better in that respect.

I got a slip in my mailbox today saying that there's a certified letter waiting for me at the P.O. Now, when I was working at SECU, whenever we sent a certified letter it was never good news. It was always "You owe us XXXXXXX amout of money, blah blah, send it NOW OR MAY YOU BURRRRRRRRN." So, needless to say I'm a little worried. I'm a good girl. I pay my bills. My credit score is as high as it could possibly be for someone with only a 7 year credit history (I'm in lending, remember, I know these things), so I can't imagine what it could be.

Well, I was in a little fender-bender a couple weeks ago (yes, it was my fault)...rear-ended a lady at a stop-light. I THOUGHT I WAS ALREADY STOPPED!!! I looked in my purse and next thing I know, BAHBAAMMM!! I hit a crappier looking car than my own, which is good. So maybe that's what that letter is about...insurance or something. I've never been the cause of a wreck. Never even had a speeding ticket, so of course I looked at that whole thing like it was the end of my life as I knew it. My court date is June 7th, and I'm going because people at work said that if the other lady doesn't show up, they'll drop my ticket and it won't go against my insurance. Otherwise, I just pay the fine ($78.67), and put up with some points on my license. Damn. I was hoping I could go my whole life with a perfectly clear driving record. Oh well.

I'm working out everyday after work, and it feels great. I sit behind a desk all day and tell people who don't pay their bills that there's not a chance in hell I'm gonna give them any money. Every once in a while you get the old lady who wants to borrow some money against an RV to travel the country, and she's got 1.5 million bucks in assets, and I'm ready to give her MY money just so I can collect on the interest. But for the most part, especially in the area where I work, people barely qualify for a checking account, much less a loan.

I had an audition on Saturday for Columbia Children's Theatre, and they're considering me for Rapunzel. It's nothing big, but it'll give me something to do after work and it's putting my face out there in the city. It pays too, so it's not TOTALLY just community theatre. You people don't know how hard it is to go from professional to community theatre. I want to stab amateurs through the eardrums, and I hate that about myself. Because I am one now. Oh man, that's hard to admit. It's true though. I'm no longer making a living acting. I'm a lender. What the hell am I doing??!!!?!!?! Oh, right. I'm in love. *sigh* Now I feel better.
