I see what you`re saying about people rooting for the underdog, or at least not wanting to support the `greatest power.` It is a strategy I take up myself when it comes to Settlers, and in many other things. I almost believe the moon landing was faked, just to defy the majority. Same goes for September 11th. Its easy to think that the masses are easily fooled, especially when watching television infomercials, but I need to stop basing my beliefs on what I first do not believe (especially in the cases of the moon landing and September 11th). For example, I do not believe the American Government is `trustworthy.` But I cannot for that reason believe that everything they say is a lie, which is what I often do.
I know a lot of people who have been hurt by Christian people, and for that reason believe that Christians are hypocrites, cheats, aggressive, etc. How can we clear our name without proclaiming false perfection? Can people accept that people who follow a perfect God are not perfect, or will Christians always be held to a higher standard?
