This was lovely!! I though it was magical how Neville's Mimbulus Mimbletonia was protected. And how fitting that it was Luna who spotted it. :)

I found it so fitting that Neville was one of people helping restore the greenhouses. There was a quiet determination to his actions that I think really suits him.

Thank you for such a sweet drabble. I love it!

In my head, I have all the remaining Hogwarts students (and perhaps some alumni) coming back to Hogwarts in the summer after DH to repair the school. I've always thought that of all the places in Hogwarts, the greenhouses would hold the most meaning for Neville. So it made sense that he would want to help repair them.

And Luna is always perfect for reminding you how life goes on!

I absolutely love the description of the greenhouses at the beginning. There are so many good details; I especially like the daffodils like strangled bodies.

Luna is a lovely breath of fresh air - I can completely imagine her telling people "it'll be all right", and them believing her. I also enjoyed the appearance of the Mimbulus Mimbletonia. :)

Thanks! I was thinking that to Neville, the destruction of his beloved plants in what might be his favourite place at Hogwarts would feel like murder.

I was thinking of Neville and Luna's first meeting, actually, and then I just had to bring his Mimbulus Mimbletonia along for the ride here. I love the symmetry of them being covered in Stinksap at the beginning and at the end.
