Anyway, it was a done deal. Ron knew from the way her mouth was set that her mind was made up.
Even if she'd been open to persuasion, he knew better than to complain: however much he wanted her to stay with him, he could never take Hermione away from school when he knew it meant so much to her.
'I'll miss you so much,' she said
It made his heart swell to hear her say so.
'No you won't,' he joked lightly. 'Since when do you miss anything when you're in the lib--mmph!'
