thank God its over..
the elections are over. no more annoying commercials about the candidates. those stupid vote or die commercials that go on during the middle of a show on mtv!! gosh! number 1: people who watch these shoes a marjority cant vote and number 2: the ones who can and that are watching the show prob arent gonna do it anyways cuz if they were interested in voting they should be watching CNN or something! thats what this stupid election thing got me soooo pissed off.no more bashing eachother. this political crap is real dirty and it can get ugly. and some people can be real hostile towards someone whos against your party of choice.
you have mtv saying oh voice ur opinion blah blah blah but if u just say "i like bush" u better watch out cuz someone will bite ur head off. do u think if i was talking to george bush and i said im on kerry's side i doubt he would like convert me to be a republican or something. i bet he would just say im glad u have an opinion. the same would go for kerry. some people take this election way too seriously and worry too much about other peoples opinions.
today i was talking to this girl who sits by me in theology and she told me that all she said was "i hope bush wins" and this like die-hard democrat person took it all offensive and was like "well i hope u will see u made a bad decision when ur brother gets drafted to iraq and gets killed there!". i think thats a little harsh dont you? i dont agree on the whole war thing and i think bush shouldve stayed out of iraq and stuff but even kerry voted in the senate for the us to invade iraq. bush put us in deep shit with iraq but i think if kerry were president it would just dig a deeper whole.
neither candidate is exactly perfect b/c either one of them would make some stupid mistakes that are gonna piss off a bunch a people but thats the way this game of politics goes. no matter how hard you try to do a good job theres always those people who are never satisfied. i guess this applies to pretty much everything.
why are all celebrities against bush? they like hate him with a passion. cameron diaz said "a vote for bush is like a vote to legalize rape" i think thats insane. these celebs are talking out of their asses. all she had to say was "i dont like bush" or w/e. and its not like that comment helped kerry or anything. that stuff pisses me off rarrr
