he can feel the tears. he can feel hangeng’s weight on his lap. those eyes are real, so are those hands and he’s pretty damn sure those lips feel the same as it always had. hangeng kisses him like he’s never done it before, soft and tentative, then a touch of tongue that whispers ‘i love you’ and ‘please love me’ at the same time. donghae unravels like a ball of string tumbling down the stairs.
