Okay, so for reasons that don't need explaining at this juncture, I have to go to bed, uh, now (my flatmates are about to chase me; they claim with love), but on the belated occasion of Kat's birth (I swear this isn't your proper present, if only cos you've seen it already and also I made you fix the ending) and the actual occasion of Jeff Skinner no longer being a teenager, here, internet. Have a story.
Nothing But Good Times Ahead -- Jeff Skinner/Eric Staal -- rated R -- 10 600 words.
Eric's been looking at Jeff for a while now. He didn't actually realise Jeff's been looking back. But Jeff's not a rookie anymore, and he's not taking this lying down.
Since this has been, um, like eight months (god) in the making, I really do want to say thank you again to EVERYONE who's looked at this story for me - because there have been a lot of you, and please remind me because I KNOW I'm forgetting someone who did a preliminary beta on it - and to thank everyone who helped out and made encouraging noises, you guys are the greatest. <3
