In unrelated to kitty news, today we did a mini roadtrip down to Roto-vegas, coupled with sufficient mystery shopping surveys to render paying for any of the petrol consumed unnecessary. \team us/ And me,

blademistress and V all traded in our half-price Zorbing vouchers for 40 seconds of giggling sloshy fun. A++ WOULD ZORB AGAIN. PS Allison we miss your faaaaaaaaace.
We may have made a small error in NZ geography on the way back IN MY DEFENCE I HAD NEVER BEEN TO GORDONTON AND THOUGHT IT WAS FURTHER EAST OKAY and had a close call with the Vortex, but thankfully about two minutes after the serious wailing and gnashing of teeth started we found our way to the sweet, sweet SH1B bypass and were soon winging our way north again.
We also had a close call in Rotorua, in that we had been planning to combine zorbing with nomming on the fruits of the bakery which had taken home the New Zealand Ultimate Pie Award (we take pies seriously here okay? Chris and I would in fact in no way totally plan a road trip based on eating all of the pie. *shifty*) except IT ISN'T OPEN ON SATURDAYS NOOOOOOOO and so we mourned deeply and gave Rotorua the stink-eye, except then we managed to use the almighty power of the Internets to turn up the address of a bronze medal winner in the area (for mince+cheese) who was both open AND had pies left, and lo, we were most satisfied. Venimus, Zorbimus, Pie! \o/
