Oh, sorry to spam, but- I remembered the other thing I was going to say, and for some reason my client won't let me edit my last post.

I'm reading Have His Carcase at the moment, and I am a good 3/4 of the way through it (&Lord Peter; &HARRIET;), and you guys. I HAVE NO IDEA WHO DUN IT. I mean, I have my suspicions, like, for some reason I am eye-balling Antoine and going HRM, but normally by this point in a mystery story (or especially on tv) I would know for SURE by now or have worked it out chapters back, because of inevitable Narrativium. But I am mostly clueless! It's really quite exciting!

I also mean to post about reading my first Nero Wolfe (I am 90% through Fer-de-lance, I just got distracted again by my Primary Work Book1, aka the Sayers, and wound up bringing that home cos I wanted to keep going), and I really really want to post about Sherri Tepper's Gibbon's Decline and Fall which I finished about two weeks ago and thought was very very good, but will absolutely require its own post both to see if I can make intelligent thoughts happen, and because of content.

1Right now at work I have Eleanor Rigby stashed under my desk as backup (tertiary) work book, for In Case pf Emergency the Event of Forgetting My Other Work Book of the Moment, and I have been halfway through it for like six months but for some reason am just not terribly grabbed by; I have Kat's the Golden Key sitting in the back of my work car as my secondary reading-at-work book, and I am in the middle of at least four other books at home. I usually pretend to blame the internet for my scatty attention span but a) that is a total lie since I've done this always and b) it's not like I can't focus on this many things at once anyway. &multitasking;!

...also I didin't mention how I did some more panel damage to my poor, poor work car today; WHO BUILDS A DRIVEWAY FOR A *TECHNICAL CONSULTANCY* that is too NARROW to drive a SMALL PICKUP around the corner of???? GRUMPY FACE, I HAS IT. On the upside, it... wasn't my own car this time? :/
