Yo, Sydney and Melbourne!
Time is rapidly marching, and I just realised we didn't actually for-certain organise anything yet, so. A series of questions!
--Would people prefer Wednesday or Thursday evening next week in Sydney for meet ups/dinner/hangouts? I don't get in until... 5pm? I think? on Wednesday, so it'd have to be like a 7/7.30pm dinner to be safe, but with no MCR (:() we also have Thursday free, too. I would also desperately love suggestions from locals or longtime residents on where to eat/meet/etc. I'll do my best to follow up with a poll tomorrow.
-Melbourne people! We (=me, Kat, Michanna, possibly B (what time is your flight bb?)) get in middayish on Friday, so we can possibly have early dinner/late cupcakes/etc then? I think? If you want to see us then, pls to be forwarding your availability.
Annoyingly in terms of 'seeing people plans', we managed to sort of cover the entirety of Saturday with putting ink into multiple peoples' skins - Kat has an apt at 11.30, Jame a bit after that, and me at 5pm. I'm thinking our best plan is to try and gather all who are awake and mobile for early breakfast (say 10am to give us time to get to the Place of Tattooing?) and then anyone else who wants can drift in and around the various area we'll be in half the day for coffee and hangouts and foods while we get all endorphined up. I'm not sure what state we'll be in for dinner/other stuff after that, but I am definitely up for tentative plans and possible rainchecking and a lot of glomping people.
Kat and I fly back to Auckland on Sunday afternoon (work DDDD:) so we only really have Sunday's morning free, but I am open to plans so long as probably having to haul our luggage around won't suck too bad. We are at least (for once, in theory) staying in the central city this time, so we're relatively easy to get to and can get places pretty well. Or, you know. Places on the train lines, anyhow. :D
I should hopefully be able to reactivate my optus SIM card again - will let people know asap if I can't - so I'll be on that number; if you need it, please comment or email me and I can forward it or just save your numbers and text you when I get in. Not sure if I will have a laptop - this is entirely dependant on the service people, SIGH - but if it's fixed by then I plan to take it. Because BBB deadline *gnaws on fingers and preemptively panics*
