SEND THEM! (That is, if you're not planning on using them. Seriously, girls at my school decorate their books with ads from labels like Gucci and Prada. I need geeky decorations!)

(Yes! He is hilarious, and I definitely don't care that he writes for kids roughly age 12.)

(I've actually never looked for fic on his books before. You know how some things are actually fine the way they are? I just never felt like I needed them to be different - or slashy, for that matter.)

(Ah, interesting. That's actually even more encouragement to read them, then, cos yeah, I know what you mean about that - I'm kind of like that with Firefly, I don't really go looking for fannish works mostly because the show gives me what I want anyway.)

(I get that about Firefly. Though sometimes there are moments, you know, where it triggers something and I just want to see it. Like Kaylee/Mal, for instance; it doesn't work in canon at all, but I still think it's sweet. And I may have this thing for angry!sex? So Mal/Simon at the beginning of the series - or whenever they're butting heads about something - is something I'd like to see more of.

But of the canon pairings? Not so much.)
