(Wow, Daniel Lanois' album is taking like five hours to dl and it's still not done. Is it just me that the site is doing it to, or what?)
And, speaking of Mr Lanois (well, sort of) - there's a favour I'd like to ask of all of you guys. A fantastic band by name of Exit (who, if I haven't pimped to you yet, you can rest assured I PLAN TO) are entering a competition with a local radio station out in LA for money to record and tour. So if you want to check out their latest video for Wish You Could Know, it's on youtube here, the competition is here (Court warns the page takes forever to load), and you can vote for them here (like halfway down the page, ish. Ctrl+F is your friend, okay?). Please note you do have to validate your vote by clicking on a link they email to you, but it's only once and they don't spam you or anything - I voted in this last time as well and it's all good. And, okay, if you see anyone else there you'd rather vote for to get this prize, by all means, I wouldn't ask you to vote against your conscience. But I kinda doubt that'll happen because Exit are fucking AWESOME, okay? So please, please, take a minute or so to support these talented musicians.
And I swear, I'm not just saying this cos they let me sleep on their futon occasionally. Go check them out, you'll see what I'm talking about. The music speaks for itself.
In other news, man, I've been up for like six hours and I'm still tired. This is sort of pathetic. Tomorrow I plan to do a whole lot of NOTHING. It'll be great. (And next weekend I got talked into going kayaking and camping with people from HS. Um. My unfitness etc is sort of terrified by this prospect. *talks self down, tells self to BUCK UP*)
