(no subject)
Little bit of a random picspam, first.
I was tidying up last weekend, and making pretty good progress, actually, but part of the work (since I don't really have flat space other than the floor in my room) involved using my bed as a staging area for all the packing/gift-wrapping crap that was spilling out of the cupboard by the window. The Zak was not amused to find His space being encroached upon, though you will note that did not stop him from marking out some territory and going straight back to sleep.
Some of you may remember me bitching over the years about the crappiness of my monitor (it was very very dark, and could not be lightened - there are photos I've taken that I can't see on it). A couple weeks ago I threw a small yet effective paddy about just how much time I have spent, over the years, and especially lately in 'fixing' computer-relatedproblems for my dad's business (a lot of time. really quite a large amount of time. and quite often on things that irritate me vastly because I have no patience and they make their own problems and I am so not an expert, yet keep being depended on to Do Something! And all of you who I've come meeping to about computer related shit are probably laughing your arses off at the thought of this because, I know, I am SO not a techie. And yet, compared to some... heh.) Anyhow, he mentioned they had a spare flatscreen monitor at the office and I... pretty much flat out suggested that they loan it to me long-term, since a) they are not even using it and b) I have done a bunch of stuff. It was super rude of me and I should be more ashamed, but. My god. It is so CLEAN and BRIGHT and PRETTY and I kind of love it a lot. See? (OMG SCREEN.)
And, lastly, remember how I said Zak was tweaking out the other night and being crazy kitty fantastico? I finally remembered to get the photo off Mum's camera.
Now, dinner and then reading, writing or arithmeticviewing something. (Fourteen and a half hours till the book drops! Hee.)
