I WIN. I have done everything on my prioritised to do list for today excepting 'watching 10x15 of SG-1' which was, you know, my reward for the rest of it, so I am kind of pleased with myself for being efficient do-er of stuff. And I have culled the scary stack of notes under my paperweight down to nothing and typed the resulting combined to do list into a word document (it's, um. three pages in 12 pt font. HOLD ME.) but still! paper gone! paperless desk! ...well, aside from all the other crap I haven't tidied yet. But hey. Most importantly, though, buried at the bottom of that stack? I found some of the notes I made frantically at work the day after the U2-Auckland weekend. As in, stuff I remembered writing down but wasn't in my notebook. alksjdlakjds.
"Before I would sing a song like this, my father would tell me three things. First, take off those damned sunglasses. Secondly, hit the high note. Thirdly, take care of the consonants and the vowels will follow. Lastly - don't fuck this one up." *flailysmash* Nggh. God. I need that show on tape. The way he said that all. And everything else.
Also, Emma? Can you remember what he said right before breaking into "do you think that's funny? I was about to talk to you about something serious."? I have that written down but no context for it. I know he was on Edge's B stage at the time.
