Ignoring writing about things I want to write about but lack the brain to do justice to (seriously, I woke up this morning and actually thought "oh, great, I'm so tired I want to throw up" but as the day went on had to reclassify that as "wow, I think I'm just not well or something" because it got both better and worse in different ways. Sigh. ( Read more... )

1. U2 ? yes?

2. ....Buffy? Did you write Buffy? Or... mg, Harry Potter?

3. Okay. No. This one is Buffy or Angel. Little sis is Firefly or Buffy. ?

4. Oh, I feel bad for not knowing this one! Wait, is this U2, and 1 is... STAR WARS. I knew I'd forgotten one of your fandoms!

5. Sounds like SGA to me, but... 7 has to be SGA. Uh. Harry Potter?

6. Due South?

7. Oh no, I think this one is SGA.

8. intrigued!

9. ooooh. Can I say LMB books? Does that count as a fandom?

screening comment so as to not have Izzy tear out her hair but, um, yes. dude.

1. Star Wars, correct. with major points to Star Wars: X Wing for being my obsessive fandom of choice for five years, and I'm rereading one of the books now, even. :D

2. Neither of those two, sorry. :D This is a more... old school fandom? Heh.

3. Buffy, and little sister would be Firefly. Oh, Firefly. *sighs*

4. Yep, U2. :D

5. Nope, nope and nope.

6. Yes!

7. Um. Yes. Stupid fandom, being all shiny and addictive and making me want to take it out and buy it high heels and expensive toys. Um. *g*

8. ...er. Yes. Heh. The Usual Suspect (er, Kat, that is) and I have a laaaaaaaaarge email-and-text-message file of Said Imaginary Fandom. Which is fun as hell but so not for ever showing the rest of the world. Oh dear.

9. Spot on again!

Hm! 2 can't be Star TREK, can it?

True Story: I have never, ever watched Star Trek.

I am not allowed to watch Star Trek.

...because then I would die and also go broke trying to watch all the canon ever and buy books etc when I inevitably got addicted. So I circumvent that by Not Ever Looking. Hee.

You... are... so... cute.

(That's why I never got far into comic books. Budget! Time and money!)

No, just, for once - showing more than the survival instinct of a lemming! *g*

(oh, you are far smarter than I am. and, oh crap, I knew I missed something.

9ii) And then there was you. God, you were such an expensive date, when I think about it, and I don't even know why I kept buying you gifts even after I'd stopped paying attention, I guess I was just conditioned by then. You were on such crack sometimes, and you were pretty, and I marvel at some of what you had me completely drooling for, and yet... I guess we just weren't meant to be. I think you were too visually oriented for me. And you did awful things to my completeist urges so, really, I suspect it was for the best, in the end. Though I'd love to sell the stuff you left me with. If only there was a market here. :D

Yeaaaaaaaah.

Movie?

Actually it started with the tv show - the one *before* the movies, not the one after - and then the comics, and then the movies, but all too casual to count, so pretend I didn't mention it.

I have a general love for comics and superhero cartoons, but it's not a fandom-type thing.

The cartoon-ish one? *curious* And, ah, no worries, yo.

I still in theory am very very fond of the comics, they're just- too exhausting to try and keep track of along with everything else, I think. I suspect I just burned out after about four years.

Exactly, that's why I never got far in. I just read them if someone else has them and they turn their back for a minute.
