"Think of it as an Archaeologist Mood Moderator, sir," Siler suggested, helpfully.

...you know when the internet becomes both scary and amusing?

When an writer you don't know, who lives in EUROPE links to a joke article (ETA: article text only, but not work-safe anyway) you remember reading when it was first composed for your university magazine. In New Zealand. At least three and more likely four years ago. Um. The world is THISBIG.

In other news, on the reccommendation of half of the people at Get/Together, I've spent the last week reading Dr Jackson's Diary (has large quantities of Daniel/Jack for people who have strong SG1 ships to bear in mind) and, oh my god. Saving any other comment I could make (seriously, if you've not read it, bear with the occasional spelling mistake, it is SO worth it), it is hysterically funny. I just. I am halfway through December and I had to stop reading because I am crying with laughter and my everything hurts and I will not spoil anything (cos Chris, at least, is def still reading for the first time) but, oh god. OWCH. *shrieking with laughter and cannot stop* I kept reliving bits of November and bits of the last Cruiseliner fic at work all day and god, that improves a Monday like you would not believe.

Mum and I are about to make our fourth attempt to sit down and start watching Slings and Arrows so I may not get to the first day of G/T tonight. Either way: wish us luck and no new interruptions!

Not!Monkeys!!
