in other news, i really wish Chris had been with me on the way home from, er, dropping her off, as then she could've written down the licence plate on the car that nearly smashed into the guy behind me multiple times before nearly hitting me at least three times. asshole. why is it i can never remember the number for *555 when i actually need it? though to my great impressed-ness, they answered within one ring today. but by the time i dug the phone out from my bag i couldn't remember which way round the last three digits of the plate went. sigh.
urgh. is nearly midnight. must. go. to bed. ...ormaybei'lljustdosomethingelsefirst. *halo glints*
i remain kinda o_O about the fact that i remembered this afternoon i've only got thirteen days before the self-imposed moratorium on listening to a certain band, so i grabbed a random bootleg (they're all in slim case cds, so i kinda can't label the spines at all) to listen to in the car because i miss them. random cd? turns out to be Joshua Tree Denver. yeah. first time in months i've heard a not-Vertigo Streets, which was... yeah. wow. (because for whatever reason, i can be listening to the album version, right? but i hear the Vertigo one. could i BE any more conditioned??) trip through your wires knocked my freaking head off for various reasons, it's so damned vivid with particular landscapes now, and then i was in the middle of i will follow (Dublin Dublin Dublin) when i had to turn it off and concentrate on not having morons mess me up.

ETA: GODDAMNIT I really do think one of my fillings is crumbling out on me. This is NOT FAIR. And also annoying. And worrying in the dental and financial ways. BAH.
